The mission of Bai-Tushum Bank is to promote social and economic development by providing access to a wide range of banking services and innovative financial solutions for individuals and businesses.
The bank is headquartered in Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan. It started its activities in 1997 as a microlending project initiated by ACDI VOVA (USA) and the Swiss organisation Caritas. In 2012, it became the first microfinance institution in Central Asia to transform into a fully-fledged bank, which allowed Bai-Tushum to provide a full range of banking services to its customers, from loans and savings to payment services and currency exchange. By now, it has become one of the leading financial institutions in Kyrgyzstan.
