Investment rationale
Benesse provides a broad range of products and services that support the development of people of all ages, as well as improving their quality of life. Around 60% of sales are related with education, from mandatory curriculum to schools, exam tests and correspondence courses for all education levels (from preschool to senior high school and working adults), to early childhood education materials. Nearly 30% of sales derive from nursing homes operated throughout Japan and senior day care, as well as daycare services for children that contribute both to their early development and to the inclusion of women in the workforce and more productive employees.
