San Fernando sources coffee from more than 1,000 small-scale coffee farmers in the Chiapas region, which is exported to buyers to Europe and the US. The coffee is certified organic and Fair Trade.

The main goal of San Fernando is to improve quality of life of their farmers in terms of productivity, housing, nutrition, health and education. They offer the farmers a premium price, provide training on sustainable farming practices - including intercropping -, renovation of coffee plantations and healthcare services.
