Meerwind is a wind farm with three turbines in the Dutch municipality of Haarlemmermeer. One of them was the first turbine to be built there, already in 1993. The three turbines have a height of 30 to 57 meters and reach a capacity of 4.9 MW in total. With approximately 7,805,000 kWh of electricity production per year, the wind farm supplies the electricity of 2,250 households in the Netherlands. At an appropriate distance from homes and businesses, no one is hindered by shadows or noise from the turbines, which are some of the quietest on the market.
