It offers various types of vegan, vegetarian, child-friendly and calorie-calculated organic meal boxes to households in Denmark and Sweden. The company educates customers about ecology and sustainability by conducting workshops to teach about waste reduction and by publishing books which promote plant-based diets. It has also introduced a web-based Planetary Food Shop, increasing consumer access to an even wider range of organic products. Also, it ensures that all goods are responsibly produced, packaged, and delivered. Triodos Food Transition Europe Fund invested in Aarstiderne in 2014 and has since supported the company in expanding its market share and geographical presence.
