The fund's investment in Accion Frontier Inclusion Fund marks the first fintech investment and provided the fund with a partner that had a grassroots presence in financial inclusion.

This investment enables the fund to build its own fintech knowledge with a like-minded partner, to generate a solid pipeline of direct investments in fintech, and to develop specific approaches for specific sub-sectors, from online lending to payment systems, and from digital wallets to so-called neo-banks.
