"Farm Plassendaal is located in the middle of Waalenburg polder in the Netherlands, where Dirk and Mariët Roeper are farmers. The land in Waalenburg is largely owned by Natuurmonumenten. You will find rare plants and many meadow birds nest there. The Limousin cows on Plassendaal ensure that the polder does not become overgrown with trees or reeds, so that the special plants have room to grow. So, nature is created on Plassendaal.
In addition, Plassendaal is a care farm; there are three mentally handicapped boys who each have their own tasks.
