Energie Exploitatie Rijswijk Buiten, part of the company Klimaatgarant, has completed an energy neutral residential area in Rijswijk, the Netherlands, in collaboration with Dura Vermeer. Since 2016, Klimaatgarant has been part of Climate for Life, a holding for sustainable installation companies. The houses are very well insulated and equipped with, among other things, a heat pump and a ventilation system and shower with heat recovery. Significant energy savings are achieved in this way. In addition, solar panels have been placed on the roof to generate electricity for these installations. On balance, the home-related energy consumption in these homes is zero.
