This is an organic fruit growing company in the municipality of Zeeland, located in the province of Brabant, the Netherlands. Gradually, Harry van den Elzen has replaced a large part of the apple trees with varieties that are resistant to diseases, such as Santana. He also sorts apples for other fruit growers. Harry van den Elzen's Elstar apples have been going to Albert Heijn for years, which says something about the quality.

The fruit trees are fed 100% organic manure, such as pig manure from a local organic pig breeder, who in turn feeds the fruit waste from De Boomgaard to his pigs. In addition, Van den Elzen obtains organic mushroom compost from the area, which has the ideal composition for the soil in Zeeland.
