Solar Plant Helium is a ground-mounted solar park in the Languedoc region in France. The solar plant is operational since February 2011. The project benefits from a 20-year feed-in- tariff, making it independent of market power prices. The plant has a total capacity of 5.4 MWp. The production is approximately 6.5 GWh per annum, which equals the energy demand of 1,900 households. Helium is a joint venture between Triodos Energy Transition Europe Fund and Sonnedix, who also manages the physical assets. Sonnedix is an independent solar power producer with a proven track record in delivering high performance cost competitive solar photovoltaic plants.
