Since 1 August 2016, Till Gerling has been the practice owner of a general practice in Workum in the province of Friesland, the Netherlands. Since completing his education, he knows where his heart lies: establishing a lasting relationship with the place where he works and the people in his practice. In addition to being a general practitioner, Gerling is also a palliative care physician, an important addition to the profession when it comes to counseling people who can often no longer be cured.
With the takeover of the practice, Gerling decided to build a new practice building and there too emphasizes sustainability in the choice of materials and technology. The goal is an energy-neutral building that combines the two aspects of sustainability, in the mutual relationship and that with the environment, in daily work in one place.
