Investment rationale

Ingredion's Specialty Ingredients are aligned with growing market and consumer trends such as health and wellness, clean labelling, simple ingredients, affordability, indulgence and sustainability. The share and, consequently, the importance of Specialty Ingredients has increased and will continue to do so, driven by favourable growth prospects. Ingredion has focused its recent investments on expanding its sugar reduction portfolio as well as its plant-based protein product lines, including pulse-based concentrates, flours and isolates.
