The financial system and infrastructure is still nascent and weak in Myanmar, especially in rural areas. Maha Agriculture Microfinance (Maha) wants to change this by providing financial services to the unbanked in Myanmar, with a focus on households in rural areas of the country.
Maha is committed to supporting farmers, vendors and small business and the country’s overall agricultural sector, through the provision of relevant financial products and services in an efficient and sustainable way. It also has a financial literacy and farmer toolkit training program for its clients.
