Optima Servicios Financieros (Optima) is a microfinance institution in El Salvador, with its head office in San Salvador. The institution’s original scope was microfinance and (micro) factoring in urban areas, but current activities include group lending and microloans in rural areas. Optima has a focus on serving the micro, small and medium-sized enterprises that have no or limited access to finance. One of the innovative financial products that Optima offers is micro-leasing for taxi drivers.
