Wind farm Samen voor de Wind (Dutch for ‘Together for the Wind’) is an initiative of 6 farmers from Dronten, the Netherlands. The wind farm was first established in 2002 and consisted of 7 wind turbines. These turbines were cleaned up in 2019 and have found a second life in Lithuania. In 2019, 7 new wind turbines were built so that sustainable energy can be produced for another quarter of a century.
