Geert-Jan van Veen, his son Gerrit and daughter-in-law Maron keep and breed organic pigs. The pigs are dropped off via the Groene Weg (Green Way) butcher. There are also a few Berkshire pigs on this farm. The meat of this special breed is exceptionally tasty and is sold in a small circle.
They currently have a company with 120 sows, the piglets of which they raise themselves on their farm. All pigs can go outside, they eat organic feed and they lie on organic straw.
