The iSTOXX Triodos Developed Markets Impact Indices provide a clear and transparent universe of companies with demonstrable positive impact, based on data from ISS ESG. They enable you to effectively steer on impact and to allocate your investments to specific UN Sustainable Development Goals.

Based on strict selection criteria

Inclusion of companies in the indices is guided by the Triodos Minimum Standards, which rank among the most rigorous exclusion criteria in the industry. These standards ensure that the selected companies and organisations do no harm to people or planet. A further requirement is that at least 25% of a company's revenues contribute positively to one or more impact objectives.

Compliant with industry standards

Both indices were developed in cooperation with ISS STOXX, a leading provider of benchmark and custom index solutions. They are fully compliant with the highest standards, including UCITS, making implementation straightforward.

Els Ankum-Griffioen joined Triodos Investment Management in 2013 with over 25 years of Asia and sustainable investment experience at PBI Securities, IMS Institutional Management Services and Sparinvest S.A and currently holds active board memberships.
Prior to the financial industry, she worked in export finance to China at the Ministry for Economic Affairs. Els Ankum-Griffioen studied Chinese Economics at Leiden University and Business Administration at Erasmus University Rotterdam.

Ronald Waals
Business Development Institutional
Ronald Waals joined Triodos Investment Management as Business Development Manager for Institutional Markets, effective 1 April 2025, following a successful interim period.
Ronald brings over 30 years of extensive experience in the institutional asset management sector, having held key positions at Achmea AM, Robeco, Natixis AM and Pinebridge Investments. Since the introduction of the Pension Fund Governance Act in 2014, he has contributed to the internal supervision of multiple pension funds and currently serves as Chair of the Supervisory Board of Molenaars Pensioenfonds.

Adam Robbins
Head of Business Development
Adam Robbins joined Triodos Investment Management in 2017, initially responsible for the UK market and has been Head of Business Development Pan-Europe since 2024.
Before joining Triodos IM, Adam Robbins worked for AXA Wealth Management, partnering with private banks, DFMs, platforms and key strategic clients. He also spent over three years with RAC in the Commercial Insurance division, where he grew the business and secured new partnerships.
