Mixed impact, common goal
Covid-19 has put emerging and developing countries’ vulnerabilities under a spotlight once again. The pandemic has forced countries to deal simultaneously with a health, an economic and a humanitarian crisis. Unlike past crises, when support from the international community was decisive, the global environment is now less constructive.
At the same time, the dimension of this global crisis should be a wake-up call: the only way forward, especially for emerging and developing countries in a post-corona world, is to redesign and rebuild our economies together as international community.
