De Genneper Hoeve is an organic urban farm in the middle of the greenery of the city of Eindhoven, the Netherlands. The farm comprises 52 hectares of land on which dairy cows, chickens and pigs are kept. The farm has its own market garden and a cheese factory. Nature conservation is done as well. The farm also functions as an educational farm, where the public can experience the animals, stables, milking, cheese making and work in the cheese storage up close. The farm shop sells all products from its own company. De Genneper Hoeve also offers workplaces for people with psychiatric or psychosocial problems and people with intellectual disabilities. By working on the farm, these people get the opportunity to develop themselves and to participate again in social life.
