Investment rationale

SAP offers a wide range of different enterprise applications to corporate customers from various industries. The different products contribute positively to several global challenges. Part of its product range contributes to economic empowerment, though enabling customers to innovate and protect the privacy of individuals and organizations. This includes SAP's IT security solutions and products for sustainable supply chain management, enabling enterprises to better comply with product safety regulations (e.g. REACH, RoHS).

Other parts of its products contribute to energy efficiency, and drive more sustainable supply chains around the world. SAP offers carbon-neutral green cloud services and enables its customers to reduce their carbon footprint by managing their SAP systems through these services. Other offers, such as system virtualisation and business application consolidation, help businesses to optimize on-premise operations in terms of energy use.
